ATLANTA, Ga -- Don't be surprised if a lot of your co-workers are sleepy and bleary-eyed today.
Fans of the "Twilight" series stayed up much of the night to see the latest installment, "Eclipse." It opened at midnight Wednesday at theaters nationwide.
"It's just off the chain," said Colleyah Divine, who saw the movie at Midtown Art Cinema.
Her friend, DJ Thomas agreed. "Eclipse was exactly what the word is, eclipse," she said. "And guess what? I used to be all on team Edward, and after seeing the movie, it's all about Jacob. I'm on team Jacob, all the way. I've made a switch."
"Eclipse" already set one record for the widest opening ever in the United States. It opened at 4,416 theaters Wednesday morning.
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" is rated PG-13 (parents strongly cautioned). It has blood, death and either nothing but sex or no sex at all.
Stephenie Meyer's four books will be made into five movies.
